No one knows why we put things down in places that really doesn't matter..... no doubt for ourselves. It's been so long since I posted regularly on this blog that no one visits any more, so I'm writing to satisfy myself.
For some silly reason most of us feel the need to either disect what has happened or to predict what will. I do both, not particularly with any degree of accuracy, but it's always interesting to see how close to reality you are.
I viewed the election of Barack Obama as a disaster, and by all measures disaster has not been averted, but instead, as usual, put off a bit longer, and absolutely still coming. In fairness it should be noted that I felt John McCain was a disaster also.
We have historically bought into balderdash as it was presented with little or no question or protest, and that is still our current status. I find it very hard to believe that anyone with even a smidgen of brainpower could buy into what we're being sold on our health care.
What is really being said is that no one can be denied for any reason and that will make it cheaper for all of us. Only a moron could believe that to any degree.
The healthcare proposal makes about as much sense as the cash for clunkers program. No one with the intelligence of a jackrabbit could believe such a program could possibly do anybody other than the buyer any good, because it doesn't. It will only rid the glutted stockpile of cars that wouldn't sell and not a damned thing to put the auto worker back to work. In all likelyhood when the overstocked cars and accompanying 'gimme' deals are gone, we'll go back into a stalemate on car buying.
If any health care measure is passed all it will do is to make the lines longer at the doctors office with all the hypochondriacs and bored out of their mind retiree's and disabled who are only in a welfare state of mind. I would suggest they all look for a job and get the hell out of my pocket. That would have a real healing affect on the economy........
That won't happen. Neither will any of my elected officials show any sense or judgement towards bringing us back to reality............ Only bad times followed by worse until we can no longer prop things up and collapse into our own inevitable conclusion....... Not to worry though.... China is poised to be the biggest and best...... Some things never change, and through out all time the next one in line is always waiting..........
